On the chassis. The Auman frame is high-tensile steel with a proven 6×4 bogie — robust, and lighter, so more of the GVW goes into legal payload. The HOWO is heavier and tougher, built to shrug off overloaded operation; the trade is a higher curb weight and slightly lower legal payload.

On the body and hydraulics. Both use high-strength steel bodies, and both fail first in the same places: bent floors, worn hinges, leaking cylinders. Ask three numbers before ordering: floor plate thickness, cylinder stage count, and the brand of the lift system — because spare-part availability is what keeps the truck earning.

Floor thickness, so rock loading from an excavator does not bend the body in month six. Cylinder configuration, since a two-stage lift goes higher but carries more seals to maintain. Rear axle ratio, because a higher ratio pulls harder on ramps and a lower one saves fuel on flat runs.
